C&K / Publication Overview

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Code & Kapital collects, uses, stores, and shares information through the website, contact inquiries, newsletter signups, and related communications.

Effective date

This Privacy Policy is effective as of August 11, 2026, and applies to information collected through the Code & Kapital website and related communications.

Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to visitors, newsletter subscribers, inquiry senders, and other individuals who interact with the Code & Kapital website or communicate with Code & Kapital through the contact and subscription forms.

Information you provide

Code & Kapital collects information that you choose to provide directly, including your name, email address, company information, inquiry category, and the contents of your message. If you sign up for the newsletter, Code & Kapital collects the email address you submit through the subscription form.

Technical information collected automatically

Like most websites, Code & Kapital and its infrastructure providers may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request metadata, page access timestamps, referrer data, and general diagnostic or server-log data. This information is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and understand high-level usage of the site.

How information is used

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, review newsletter interest, communicate about research, media, partnerships, and related offerings, maintain site operations, monitor abuse or spam, measure overall site usage, and improve the reliability and presentation of the website.

Website analytics

Code & Kapital uses Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to measure overall site usage, page performance, and aggregate interaction patterns. These analytics tools are used to understand traffic, page popularity, content usage, and site reliability rather than to build individual advertising profiles. Code & Kapital does not intentionally send contact-form contents, newsletter form contents, or other sensitive personal information into analytics events.

Email handling and communications

Contact inquiries and newsletter signup requests are currently transmitted through Resend for email delivery and are then received through Code & Kapital's designated email inbox. This means information submitted through forms may be processed by email service providers as part of normal message delivery and storage.

Service providers and sharing

Code & Kapital does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with trusted service providers that support hosting, deployment, analytics, email delivery, spam prevention, security monitoring, and related website operations. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the site.

Cookies and similar technologies

Code & Kapital uses limited storage and similar technologies for core site functionality and, where accepted by the visitor, analytics measurement. Google Analytics 4 may use cookies or related browser storage to help measure page usage and site performance. Code & Kapital does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising technology on the website.

Analytics consent choices

Visitors are presented with an analytics consent choice before Google Analytics 4 is activated on the site. If you decline analytics, Code & Kapital will not enable Google Analytics 4 through the website's consent flow. If you previously accepted and want to change that choice later, you may clear the site's stored data in your browser and revisit the site to make a new selection.

Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for communication, operational, legal, security, recordkeeping, or business purposes. The retention period may vary depending on the type of inquiry, the nature of the communication, and applicable legal or operational requirements.

Security

Code & Kapital uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect collected information. However, no method of transmission, storage, or website operation can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction, deletion, or communication-related removal by contacting Code & Kapital at codeandkapital@gmail.com. If you no longer want to receive newsletter-related communications, you may contact Code & Kapital directly to request removal from future outreach.

Children's privacy

The website is intended for a professional and general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Code & Kapital does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website.

Third-party links

The website may link to third-party platforms such as YouTube or other external resources. Code & Kapital is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites or services.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time as the website, communications stack, service providers, or business operations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date where appropriate.
